Alan sadly passed away on 27 April 2026.  Alan joined GCC in 2019 and quickly became a valued member of our club.  He was Print Secretary from 2020 until he became ill in 2025.  Alan's special interest was train photography.  He enjoyed trips to Tanfield and Shildon and knew all the best places to view steam trains travelling through Newcastle Central Station which he was happy to share with friends and colleagues.  Alan will be rememberd fondly as a lovely, funny man.  His chat, craic, smile and humour will be sadly missed.
